Send your dog on vacation while you're out of town, to our 5 acre homestead in Clinton, WA. Your dog will be a part of the Rai family during their stay--they'll be living in my one-bedroom apartment, where they're welcome on all the furniture. During the day we can go explore our walking trails in the woods, play in the 1,000 sq foot fenced area, or head to the dog park down the street.

Hi! I'm Solaris (they/them). I own and operate Solaris Pet Care. I now offer boarding and daycare services on my 5 acre homestead in addition to overnight care, drop-in visits, and dog walks at client homes.
I have a long personal history of caring for cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes, and also have experience working in the pet food industry in both retail and corporate office environments. I've been unofficially pet sitting for friends and family for years, and officially joined Rover in Seattle December of 2021. I started Solaris Pet Care when I moved to Whidbey Island in March of 2022. I am licensed, bonded, and insured.
My approach to caring for your pets is simple: I do my best to meet them where they are to ensure they have the most comfortable time possible while their humans are away. This often looks like lots of (consensual) snuggles for everyone, as well as lots walks, play time, belly rubs, and (parent-approved) snacks. I also love to keep you updated on how your kids are doing while you’re gone, and am more than happy to send photos and snippets of their day as often as you’d like—just ask!
